Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various tasks related to asbestos and lead abatement. This role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in asbestos abatement and mold remediation efforts, following established protocols to ensure safety and compliance.
- Help restore properties by performing demolition, cleanup, and repair tasks as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations and guidelines to promote workplace safety at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in labor or construction is preferred but not required.
- Current Driver's License and dependable vehicle is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to building, restoration, asbestos abatement, and mold remediation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
Pay is between $25 and $40 depending on project pay scale. Out of town travel most every week, back on weekends. Lodging provided. Do not need to be currently certified. Driver's license required, reliable transportation required.
