Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide acute pain management and pain relief through massage therapy
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to inform your practice
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed for comprehensive patient care
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Valid Massage Therapist license/certification in the state of Virginia
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate client records
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
