Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Programmer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Forms to develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise Oracle applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle database development, application integration, performance optimization, and production support. This role involves collaborating with business users and IT teams to design scalable solutions, support Oracle upgrades and migrations, and contribute to the modernization of legacy Oracle Forms applications into Oracle APEX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Forms.
- Design, write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
- Build and enhance user-friendly applications using Oracle APEX.
- Maintain existing Oracle Forms applications and support modernization initiatives by migrating legacy Forms applications to Oracle APEX.
- Support Oracle database upgrades, patches, migrations, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Develop and maintain system integrations using REST APIs, SFTP, point-to-point, and Pub/Sub technologies.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and application workflows.
- Improve application performance, security, maintainability, and overall user experience.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX development.
- Strong experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms development, maintenance, and support.
- Experience migrating or modernizing Oracle Forms applications into Oracle APEX.
- Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, SFTP, point-to-point, and Pub/Sub technologies.
- Experience supporting Oracle databases in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and application deployment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create technical documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Reports.
- Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Experience supporting Oracle database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with Apache Tomcat or Oracle WebLogic Server.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL databases.
- Experience with Windows Server Administration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications and supporting complex system integrations.
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP, or WordPress.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
