Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team at Reddy Ice. In this role, you will play a vital part in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our ice products meet the highest quality standards. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve customers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery involved in the production of packaged ice.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of machines for production runs.
- Fabricate components as needed to support production processes.
- Package finished products for distribution, ensuring quality control standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge and experience operating machinery.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with CNC machining is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications (GD&T knowledge is a plus).
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
