POSITION: Teacher's Assistant (3-6 year olds)
Job Description: We are looking to hire dedicated and caring teachers' aid to work part-time in our Montessori school. Aides work closely with trained Montessori teachers to provide a caring and nurturing learning environment for children from age 15 months - 6 years.
A gentle, calm, friendly nature and previous experience working with children is required. This is a great way to start your professional Montessori journey. If you are a patient, reliable, kind, and compassionate person who enjoys working with children, is a good team player, are willing to learn about Montessori philosophy and method, and open to coaching from a teacher and supervisor please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children in the hallway and bathroom
- Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing school environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Qualifications: 2 years experience working with children in settings such as a preschool, childcare, or early childhood education
Requirements:
- Must obtain required background clearances
- Must get a physical and TB test
- Must complete all required trainings
- Participate in training sessions and professional development.
