Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across various facility areas
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation
- Follow established sanitation standards to uphold health regulations in all work areas
- Support industrial cleaning tasks or residential painting projects as needed to assist with broader facilities maintenance efforts
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff or visitors when necessary
