We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Child Care Center Director to lead our well-established early childhood program. Our center is a 4-Star Texas Rising Star facility with a strong reputation in the community for providing high-quality care and education. We are looking for a leader who shares our commitment to excellence in early childhood education, family engagement, and creating a nurturing environment where children thrive.

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of licensed child care center director experience
- Strong knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards
- Experience with Texas Rising Star (TRS) standards and quality initiatives
- Experience administering or overseeing the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
- Proven leadership, staff management, and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the community
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet the needs of the center
- A sincere passion for early childhood education and child development
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience increasing enrollment through community outreach, marketing, and family engagement
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and oversight of all center operations
- Maintain compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing regulations
- Lead the center's continued success as a 4-Star Texas Rising Star program
- Oversee CACFP compliance, documentation, and meal program requirements
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-quality teaching staff
- Foster a positive, supportive workplace culture
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective families
- Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment and maintain full classrooms
- Ensure classrooms provide developmentally appropriate, engaging learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children and staff
- Partner with families to support children's growth and development
