Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) – Part Time or Full time

Gentle Doctor Animal Hospitals is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team in Omaha. This is a part-time or full time position for a technician who enjoys hands-on patient care, working closely with veterinarians, and making a real difference for pets and their families.
Our technicians are trusted medical team members and are encouraged to fully use their training and technical skills.
Veterinary Technician Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures
- Place IV catheters and monitor anesthesia
- Perform dental cleanings and dental radiographs
- Collect blood samples and run in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Take and process radiographs
- Monitor hospitalized patients and ensure patient comfort
- Educate clients about medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records using veterinary practice software
Requirements
- Nebraska Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) – required
- Veterinary clinic or hospital experience preferred
- Strong patient handling and technical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary hospital
- Excellent communication and teamwork
