Your Opportunity
As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you’ll do far more than manage a classroom.
You’ll create an environment where children feel confident enough to explore, curious enough to learn, and supported enough to become independent.
You’ll also help mentor Assistant Teachers while partnering with families to create exceptional early learning experiences.

- Lead a Montessori toddler classroom with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Create and maintain a beautiful prepared learning environment
- Foster independence through age-appropriate Montessori activities
- Build trusting relationships with children and families
- Observe and document children’s growth and development
- Mentor and support Assistant Teachers
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications
Lead Teacher candidates should possess (or be actively pursuing) Early Childhood Education credentials required by Washington State.
Montessori experience is valued and encouraged.
You must also:
- Meet Washington State/DCYF licensing requirements
- Successfully complete required background checks
- Obtain CPR/First Aid certification (if not already certified)
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills
