Precision Delivery Federal LLC · Remote (U.S.) · Contract, part-time · $90–$150/hr DOE
We are a small business that builds software for federal R&D programs (Iowa LLC · SAM.gov CAGE 1AYQ0 · DD-2345 certified). We keep a standing bench of named specialists and bring them onto the projects that match their background.
We are adding a Mission Planning and Post-Mission Debrief Consultant to that bench. Direct experience with reconstructing what happened on a mission and re-planning the next one required. U.S. person status required. Current or former practitioners both welcome — aircrew, mission planners, debrief and intelligence officers, test engineers.
Terms: 1099, fully remote, no minimum hours, no exclusivity, no travel. Engagements are scoped in hours, not months.
Apply: send a resume and answer all five questions
1. How often did reconstructing what happened on a mission and re-planning the next one come up in your work, and roughly what did it cost — in hours, in people, or in rework?
2. What tool or process does your organization use today for post-mission reconstruction and re-planning, and where does it fall short?
3. If a better way to handle post-mission reconstruction and re-planning existed, which office or role would decide whether to adopt it?
4. Do you have any role in deciding what tools or systems your organization adopts — approving, evaluating, or recommending a purchase?
5. Do you own, or hold signing authority for, a company or consultancy of your own?
Citation (required question). We require the ability to potentially quote your answers in federal proposals. Are you comfortable with that? ☐ Yes ☐ No
We quote answers as given, and never imply you or your employer endorse us, intend to buy anything, or are committed to anything.
Optional — a one-page letter of support. No bearing on your candidacy. It says that the problem described here — post-mission reconstruction and re-planning — is real in your field, and that you would be open to seeing a solution. No money, nothing binding, not an endorsement of us. We draft it from your own answers; you edit or reject anything. It may appear with more than one proposal — say so if you would rather it be used once. ☐ Yes ☐ Tell me more ☐ No thanks

- This is a super flexible part-time named-consultant role. With your agreement we name you on federal research proposals. If a proposal is awarded, you are paid for roughly 40 to 80 hours over 6 to 12 months at the posted rate. If nothing is awarded, there is no work and no obligation.
