Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and specialized populations such as those with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions by developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and performing procedures such as suturing, IV infusions, catheterizations, and spinal taps.
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, and Cerner to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate care in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, emergency rooms, or telehealth platforms.
- Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to promote health literacy.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and medical imaging interpretation when necessary.
- Support specialized services such as telehealth consultations, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health programs, or esthetic laser treatments depending on clinical focus.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with valid certification in your state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; hospital medicine; emergency medicine; or urgent care environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology.
- Hands-on experience with procedures such as venipuncture, IV insertion/infusion therapy, suturing, catheterization (including cardiac catheterization), spinal taps, and sterile processing techniques.
- Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-10/ICD-9 classifications for accurate documentation and billing.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, airway management, tube feeding management, and ventilator support when applicable.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (neonatal ventilator care), geriatrics (memory care), behavioral health patients or individuals with developmental disabilities.

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
