The ERP Project Manager will be responsible for managing the successful execution of IT projects across the organization, including the implementation of a new company-wide ERP system and other key technology initiatives. This role involves managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are completed on time and within budget. The ERP Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that new technologies and systems are integrated effectively to improve organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, and post-project support.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, department heads, and third-party vendors to ensure that project goals and deliverables are met.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, identifying risks, and proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.
- Manage the project scope and ensure that changes are properly documented and approved.
- Liaise with external vendors to assess and procure necessary tools or platforms, ensuring that vendor solutions meet business needs.
- Write RFPs as necessary to select vendors and external partners, ensuring the procurement process is thorough and aligned with project goals.
ERP Implementation
- Support the implementation of a new company-wide ERP system, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Support data migration efforts, ensuring legacy data is accurately transferred into the new system.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure the ERP system integrates smoothly with other business systems, including eCommerce and social media platforms.
- Provide training, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support to ensure system adoption and resolve any issues.
System Integration & Technology Solutions
- Manage the integration of business systems, including the new ERP, eCommerce platforms, and other software tools, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work with internal teams to ensure seamless data synchronization and flow across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Data Management & Analysis
- Support data transformation efforts, ensuring that data is accurately mapped and migrated to new systems.
- Work with business teams to ensure data integrity, including the development of testing and validation processes.
- Assist in optimizing business workflows and reporting processes through data-driven insights.
Training & User Support
- Develop and deliver training programs to support user adoption of new systems and technologies.
- Provide hands-on support to users during the transition to new systems, helping them troubleshoot issues and improve their efficiency.
- Ensure that ongoing support is available post-implementation to address any user challenges and maximize system value.
Qualifications
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise IT projects.
- 3+ years leading ERP implementation or major enterprise software deployment projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional, organization-wide technology initiatives.
- Experience working within manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, or supply chain environments preferred.
- Proven experience managing external implementation partners, software vendors, and consultants.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience implementing or supporting ERP systems such as Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Epicor, Infor, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms.

- Experience with system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data migration projects.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, reporting tools, and data validation processes.
- Experience supporting cloud-based business applications.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platform integrations (BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or similar) preferred.
