We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and experienced Medical Podiatric Front Desk Receptionist Supervisor to join our established group podiatry practice. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of leading front office operations in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support front desk staff and daily reception operations
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and compassion
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and check-in/check-out processes
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed
- Handle incoming calls, patient inquiries, and electronic communications
- Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate front office workflow to ensure efficient patient care
- Train and mentor front desk team members
- Assist with billing coordination and collection of copays/balances
- Resolve patient concerns and provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of medical front desk experience required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Podiatry or specialty medical office experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR systems
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in busy clinical setting
