Deliver materials, equipment, and plants to job sites
- Transport materials between vendors, yard, and job locations
- Coordinate deliveries with the Facility & Yard Foreman and field managers
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to crews
- Safely load, secure, and transport materials
- Pickup materials and equipment from job sites
- Maintain DOT compliance with CDL regulations
Yard and Crew Operations Support – 35%
- Operate skid loaders, forklifts, and front loader
- Assist with staging materials for upcoming jobs
- Produce a goal amount of soil each week based on sold work
- Help load landscape and maintenance crews
- Help organize inventory and storage areas
- Receive and unload material deliveries from vendors
- Operate snow removal equipment during the winter months
Facility Maintenance – 20%
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard and facility
- Help maintain yard layout, bins, storage areas, and staging zones
- Maintain general facility upkeep, trash, and improvement projects
- Support infrastructure improvements and yard development
- Assist with planning and execution of facility expansion projects
- Manage compost, soil, and dump piles
- Timeliness and accuracy of deliveries
- Safety and proper equipment operation
- Proper care and maintenance of equipment and delivery trucks and trailers
- Yard organization and cleanliness
- Reliability and attendance
- Communication with crews and management
- Total compensation of $32-34 per hour

Reports to: Facility and Yard Operations Foreman
Works closely with: Managers, Crew Leaders, Project Admin, Directors
Typical Hours: M-F, opening or closing shift, some Saturdays. Seasonal OT and snow operations hours as needed.
- 3+ years’ experience in landscaping, construction, or yard operations
- 3+ years’ operating heavy equipment (skid loader, forklift, front loader)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving and criminal record
- CDL is required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Full mobility in upper and lower body
Summary: The Delivery Driver is responsible for transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites while supporting the daily operations of the SVL yard and facility. This role ensures crews receive the materials and equipment they need to operate efficiently. When not performing deliveries, the technician loads crews, stages materials, and supports the daily operations of the supply yard.
