We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead operations at a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, resident-focused leader with a strong background in operational management, regulatory compliance, and staff development.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clinical and operational leadership to drive performance, maintain compliance, and foster a positive environment for residents and employees.
About the Role
The LNHA is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day facility operations while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services. This leader will collaborate with clinical, financial, and regional partners to support ongoing performance, survey readiness, and a strong resident and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all facility departments
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards
- Drive census growth, financial performance, and resident satisfaction
- Foster a positive culture that supports employee engagement and retention
- Maintain continuous survey readiness and lead regulatory processes
- Collaborate with clinical leadership on quality improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners
Qualifications
- Active New York State Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in skilled nursing facility leadership
- Strong knowledge of NYS DOH regulations and long-term care compliance
- Proven leadership, operational, and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with census management, surveys, and performance improvement preferred
