Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and self-motivated Property Preservation Contractors to perform residential property maintenance services throughout Metro Atlanta. The primary responsibility is completing high-quality grass cuts and exterior property maintenance for vacant, foreclosed, and investment properties while meeting strict client deadlines and quality standards.
This position is ideal for contractors who own their own lawn equipment, work independently, and take pride in delivering professional results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform routine and initial grass cuts on vacant residential properties.
- Mow, edge, trim, and weed-eat all required areas of the property.
- Remove grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, driveways, porches, and entryways.
- Trim shrubs, hedges, vines, and overgrown vegetation as required.
- Remove small trees, brush, and unwanted vegetation when assigned.
- Maintain curb appeal according to client specifications.
- Photograph the property before, during, and after work using a smartphone.
- Submit completed work orders and photos through the company app or portal.
- Report hazards, vandalism, storm damage, or code violations observed at properties.
- Ensure all work is completed by required deadlines.
- Maintain clean, professional, and safe work practices at every property.
Additional Property Preservation Duties (As Assigned)
- Debris and trash removal
- Exterior property cleanups
- Gutter cleaning
- Lock changes
- Window boarding
- Minor repairs
- Winterization assistance
- Pressure washing
- Fence and gate repairs
- Property inspections
Requirements
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, property preservation, or maintenance preferred.
- Must have a valid ABC number
- Own reliable truck, trailer, and commercial-grade lawn equipment.
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Smartphone with internet access for work orders, GPS, and photo documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation to multiple properties daily.
- Background check required.
Preferred Requirements
- General Liability 1M coverage
- Errors and Omissions insurance 1M coverage
- Proficient in using Pruvan or PPW software
Preferred Equipment
Contractors should own or have access to:
- Commercial zero-turn mower
- Push mower
- Weed eater/string trimmer
- Edger
- Backpack blower
- Hedge trimmer
- Chainsaw (preferred)
- Trailer
- Safety equipment (gloves, eye protection, hearing protection)
