Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Semi-Truck Driver of Heavy Equipment to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various heavy-duty trucks to transport heavy equipment, freight, and specialized loads across designated routes. Your expertise in driving a range of trucks—including flatbeds, and roll-off trucks—will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate semi-trucks with manual transmission, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment and freight using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security.
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while adapting to changing traffic conditions or delivery priorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing updates on delivery status.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on heavy equipment transport or freight delivery.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions.
- Prior experience in route driving and load & unload operations for various types of freight.
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment transport and truck driving regulations (including CDL requirements).
- Delivery driver experience involving freight handling, load securing, and route planning is a strong plus.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
