This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service via phone and email, delivering timely information, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Process customer orders accurately and enter order information into the warehouse management system.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and provide customers with shipment status updates.
- Process customer billing and invoicing accurately.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns, shipment discrepancies, and service-related issues.
- Coordinate with steamship lines, carriers, and customers regarding freight availability and release dates.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and shipment activity.
- Utilize internal systems and software to research issues and facilitate problem resolution.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, transportation teams, and customers to ensure excellent service and on-time order fulfillment.
