About the Role
As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing department by executing complex machining operations on large-scale components. You will leverage your expertise in metal removal and CNC programming to ensure every part meets rigorous engineering standards, directly contributing to the quality and reliability of our final products.
Responsibilities-
Configure and operate large-format milling equipment, including setting up fixtures and selecting appropriate tooling for optimal production.

Develop and refine CNC programs using G-code and M-code to ensure efficient and accurate machining cycles.

Execute precise machining tasks such as milling, boring, and drilling on steel components to meet exact blueprint specifications.

Perform comprehensive quality control inspections using precision metrology tools like micrometers and calipers to verify dimensional accuracy.

Proactively identify and rectify machining defects to maintain high throughput and minimize waste.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including performing routine machine maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED with formal training in machine tool technology or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 2 years of machine shop experience, with at least 1 year specifically in CNC operation and setup.

Proven ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and understand metal properties.

Strong proficiency in shop math, including geometry and trigonometry, and familiarity with the metric system.

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift in an industrial environment.

Active CNC Operator or Programming certification.

Experience with diverse metal removal equipment, including grinders or various milling platforms.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced team setting.
