Part-Time / On-Call Flex Security OfficerOverview
TACTIX Security Solutions Inc. is seeking dependable Part-Time / On-Call Flex Security Officers to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work, supplemental income, or those wanting to gain experience in a variety of security assignments. Officers may be assigned to special events, construction sites, oil and gas operations, commercial properties, patrol services, access control, and other client locations throughout our service area.
Hours are based on client needs and business demands and are not guaranteed. Flex Officers are contacted as assignments become available and may have opportunities to pick up additional shifts based on performance, reliability, availability, and company needs.
We are looking for professional individuals who are dependable, customer-service oriented, and committed to representing TACTIX Security Solutions with integrity, professionalism, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional security presence at assigned client locations.
- Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of assigned properties.
- Monitor entrances, exits, gates, parking areas, and restricted locations.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, policy violations, and criminal activity.
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and professionally.
- Assist with access control by verifying authorized employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain communication with supervisors and company management throughout assigned shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Follow all client post orders, company policies, and supervisor instructions.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
- Ability to work days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Ability to walk, stand, patrol, and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate reports.
- Basic smartphone and computer proficiency.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred but not required.
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
