Established locally owned and operated upscale Restaurant located in the greater Daytona Beach area is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. This role requires a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including both FOH and BOH.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Oversee staff training programs to enhance team performance and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members.
- Oversee all floor operations to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience.
Experience
- Possess a proven track record and experience in managing a high-volume upscale restaurant. (3-5 years)
- Have a complete understanding of Profit & Loss Statements and Budgetary Controls.
- Must possess POS proficiency and have computer programs proficiency (Toast, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management practices, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and cost management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and staff, with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently; ensuring both guest and staff satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fine dining restaurant management experience is a plus.
