Content Creator & Social Media Marketing Consultant
Boba Nation Grand is seeking a creative, trend-focused, and highly collaborative Content Creator & Social Media Marketing Consultant to help grow our consumer and franchise brands.
This is not a traditional social media posting role. The engagement combines content creation, filmmaking, brand storytelling, influencer marketing, franchise marketing support, and close collaboration with company leadership.
The ideal consultant understands modern short-form content, can independently create engaging videos, participate in creative discussions, travel between locations, and help shape the overall direction of the brand.
This is a hands-on, deliverable-focused consulting engagement where initiative, communication, creativity, and execution are equally important.
Position Details
- Part-Time Consulting Engagement
- Approximately 30-40 hours per week
- Compensation: $18-$22 per hour depending on experience
- Flexible scheduling available
- Must be comfortable traveling between store locations
- Occasional evening and weekend availability required for grand openings, events, customer interviews, creator collaborations, and high-traffic filming opportunities
Core Expectations
This engagement is deliverable-focused rather than time-clock focused.
Consultants are expected to:
- Attend required meetings, creative reviews, planning sessions, and strategy discussions with company leadership.
- Collaborate with ownership, franchise consultants, designers, operations teams, and external partners.
- Incorporate feedback and complete revisions necessary to align projects with brand standards, campaign goals, and creative direction.
- Maintain regular communication regarding project status, timelines, deliverables, and potential obstacles.
- Provide work-in-progress updates rather than waiting until final delivery dates.
- Support both consumer-facing marketing campaigns and franchise development initiatives.
- Travel between store locations as needed to capture content, support launches, and participate in marketing activities.
- Operate independently while fulfilling agreed-upon deliverables, schedules, and collaborative commitments.
Timely communication, participation in required meetings, and completion of agreed-upon deliverables are essential components of this engagement.
Content Creation Responsibilities
- Film TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, photographs, and other branded content.
- Capture customer experiences, product launches, grand openings, behind-the-scenes operations, and lifestyle content.
- Produce authentic customer testimonials and user-generated content.
- Create approximately 5–10 pieces of content per week, with flexibility depending on campaigns, events, and business needs.
- Stay current with TikTok trends, trending audio, Instagram culture, memes, and short-form storytelling techniques.
- Research and implement new content formats, transitions, hooks, and viral concepts.
- Comfortably appear on camera when appropriate and assist with on-camera storytelling when needed.
Video Production & Editing
- Edit high-quality short-form videos optimized for engagement and platform performance.
- Add captions, transitions, music, sound design, motion graphics, and trending audio.
- Deliver fast-turnaround edits for active posting schedules and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain consistency with Boba Nation Grand brand standards and premium visual identity.
- Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, and advanced editing workflows is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CapCut, Canva, TikTok Editor, and other rapid-content tools is a major advantage.
- Experience with professional photography and videography equipment is preferred.
Franchise & Brand Marketing Responsibilities
This engagement supports both consumer marketing and franchise development initiatives.
Projects may include:
- Franchise recruitment videos
- Founder and leadership content
- Store success stories
- Grand opening coverage
- Customer line and store traffic footage
- Day-in-the-life content
- Beverage storytelling campaigns
- Brand positioning projects
- Beverage education and menu feature campaigns
- Store buildout and opening content
- Behind-the-scenes operational footage
- Customer testimonial videos
- User-generated content campaigns
Consultants should understand that franchise marketing projects may require multiple revisions, collaboration sessions, interviews, and strategic discussions to ensure messaging accurately reflects company goals, investment opportunities, and brand standards.
Social Media Management
Manage and support:
- Instagram
- TikTok
- Facebook
- X (Twitter)
- YouTube
- Google Business Profiles
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and publishing content
- Community management and comment responses
- Maintaining content calendars
- Monitoring trends, insights, and engagement metrics
- Coordinating influencer partnerships
- Supporting local marketing initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for growth, reach, and audience engagement
- Assisting with promotional campaigns and limited-time offerings
Influencer & Community Marketing
Coordinate with:
- Local food creators
- College influencers
- Bay Area creators
- Mall lifestyle creators
- Bubble tea creators
- Lifestyle and food vloggers
- "What I Eat In A Day" creators
Assist with:
- Creator visits
- Grand openings
- Tasting events
- Limited-time collaborations
- Community activations
- Influencer outreach and relationship management
- User-generated content initiatives
- Cross-promotional campaigns and partnerships
Creative Collaboration & Brand Strategy
The consultant will function as a creative partner to company leadership.
Responsibilities may include:
- Brainstorming campaign ideas
- Contributing to brand storytelling initiatives
- Helping refine messaging and calls-to-action
- Supporting beverage-focused marketing strategies
- Highlighting Boba Nation Grand as a beverage destination rather than solely a boba brand
- Participating in creative workshops, planning sessions, and collaborative discussions
- Recommending trends, content opportunities, and audience engagement strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and modern social media culture
- Experience with photography, videography, and visual storytelling
- Ability to independently plan, film, edit, and publish content
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable incorporating revisions and feedback
- Comfortable speaking with customers and collecting testimonials
- Able to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
- Experience with food, beverage, retail, hospitality, lifestyle, or franchise brands is preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
- Personal camera equipment and editing tools are a major plus
