Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials safely and efficiently
- Operate power tools and basic equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance
- Implement workplace safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, performing minor repairs or reporting issues for maintenance
- Assist with climbing structures or scaffolding as needed for various construction tasks
- Follow all safety regulations related to respiratory protection, heavy lifting, and industrial construction environments
Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial or construction environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, climbing, and other physically demanding tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to respiratory protection protocols and other safety regulations
- Ability to operate power tools safely and perform basic equipment repair when necessary
