Join a Leader in Industrial Equipment Installation
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Engineer to oversee the installation of custom industrial equipment at customer sites across the United States. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys travel, solving mechanical challenges, and leading field installation teams from project start to finish.
This position requires approximately 40% travel and offers the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects while serving as the primary point of contact for customers on-site.
Responsibilities
- Lead onsite installation and commissioning of large industrial equipment and mechanical systems.
- Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and customer personnel to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and installation documents.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve installation issues.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
- Serve as the primary customer contact during field installations, providing updates and resolving concerns.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices while maintaining compliance with all safety standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to internal teams.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical installation, industrial construction, field service, or equipment installation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience leading crews or coordinating field installation projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time throughout the United States.
- Experience working alongside union labor is preferred but not required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
