Who We Want
Miller Industries is seeking a General Laborer for our Processing Department at our south location in Fenton, MI. The position is on our 1st Shift – Monday – Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm with overtime asneeded for production. This position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to advance into a full-time machine operator role using state-of-the-art equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Loading and unloading automated laser cutting machine.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
- Performs inspection of finished products and documents results.
- Assists in other work areas to perform manufacturing.
- Quality check fabricated parts to meet specifications.
- Loading and unloading of trucks with a Hi-Lo.

What Requirements Are Needed
- High School diploma or GED with 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and verify mathematical measurements.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe and positive work environment.
