We are seeking a warm, collaborative, and student-centered Part-Time 2nd Grade Co-Teacher to support instruction and classroom learning in partnership with the lead teacher.
Requirements:
- Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging instructional lessons.

Use different models of co-teaching to meet the needs of all students.

Work with individuals, small groups, and the full class to support student learning and growth.

Help create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

Build meaningful relationships with students and support their social-emotional development.

Observe student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.

Assist with classroom organization, routines, and learning materials.

Collaborate closely with the lead teacher and grade-level team to support student success.

Reinforce classroom expectations and procedures using positive behavior management strategies.

Participate in lunch/recess supervision as assigned.

Communicate professionally and collaboratively with administrators, colleagues, and families.

Pursue ongoing professional learning and growth.

Strong instructional and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.

Preferred knowledge of:
- Science of Reading practices
- Responsive Classroom approach

Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field required.

Master’s Degree preferred.
