Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our culinary team. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes while ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is a must.
- Proficiency in knife skills and various cooking techniques related to grilling.
- Knowledge of food preparation methods, food handling, and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
