Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- Full time
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Night shift w weekend rotation
We’re Looking For:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
What You’ll Do:
- Support department operations and nursing practice excellence through quality improvement and evidence-based leadership.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and supervision of nursing teammates.
- Facilitate shift huddles and staff communication to promote collaboration and information sharing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory, and organizational policies and standards.
- Round regularly with patients, teammates, and physicians to enhance satisfaction, care quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including treatments, procedures, medication administration, and delegation of care.
- Coordinate patient throughput and staffing resources by continuously assessing volume, acuity, and operational needs.
