Animal Medical Corpus Christi is seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
We are an AAHA-accredited, family-owned small animal practice with six veterinarians and a newly built 9,500-square-foot facility. Our mission is to improve the quality of pets' lives through compassionate medical care while providing exceptional service and support to our clients.
As the first and last point of contact for our clients, our receptionists play a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional, and caring experience for both pets and their owners. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answering multi-line phone systems and directing calls appropriately
- Scheduling appointments and managing daily appointment flow
- Checking patients in and out
- Collecting payments and processing transactions
- Reviewing estimates, invoices, and treatment plans with clients
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Assisting with prescription requests and refill coordination
- Communicating effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Providing client education and answering general questions
- Managing emails, messages, and other administrative tasks
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and able to remain calm and professional in a busy veterinary setting. Previous veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong communication and customer service skills.
