Overview
Brush Works LLC cleans and maintains multifamily and commercial properties across the Gallatin Valley. We're hiring a Move-Out & Commercial Cleaner who takes pride in turning a unit fast and leaving a commercial space spotless. Your week splits roughly in half: mornings on recurring commercial accounts, afternoons on residential move-out turns, with occasional punch-list fixes during slower stretches. You'll work independently across multiple sites with a consistent weekday schedule and no on-call requirement unless you opt in.
Responsibilities
- Residential move-out cleans (about 35% of your week)
- Full deep cleans of vacated rental units: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas
- Inside-and-outside refrigerator and oven cleans, cabinet interiors, baseboards, blinds, vents
- Window tracks, sills, and interior glass
- Spot-treat walls, wipe down doors and trim, dust ceiling fans and fixtures
- Final walk-through against a turn checklist before marking the unit ready
- Commercial cleaning (about 50% of your week)
- Recurring janitorial routes at multifamily common areas, fitness centers, lobbies, restrooms
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restocking, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- Trash and recycling haul-out from staging areas
- Garage and parking structure sweeping with company equipment
- Logging completed work at each site
- Light punch-list maintenance (about 15% of your week)
- Caulk touch-ups, re-hanging closet doors, tightening cabinet hardware
- Replacing lightbulbs, smoke detector batteries, blinds, toilet seats
- Swapping furnace filters
- Anything beyond cosmetic punch-list work goes to a dedicated maintenance tech
All sites
- Professional, courteous interactions with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Time and activity logged in company-provided software (training provided)
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- 2+ years of cleaning OR building maintenance experience required
- Valid Montana driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal transportation (mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate)
- Must pass a criminal background screening and meet insurability requirements
- Comfortable learning and using software for time tracking and work documentation
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working alone inside vacant tenant units
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
