Job Duties:
- Control all inbound and outbound truck, employee, and visitor traffic.
- Verify identification and credentials before granting access.
- Enforce a strict no-identification, no-entry policy with no exceptions.
- Inspect shipping paperwork, bills of lading, and delivery documentation as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic and written gate logs.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, employees, and site management.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious or unauthorized activity immediately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections when required by site procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and follow all site security protocols.
- Perform routine patrols of the gate and surrounding area.
- Complete detailed incident and activity reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service while consistently enforcing client policies.

- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if operating a company vehicle).

- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency for electronic reporting.
- Ability to accurately verify identification and shipping documentation.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while enforcing security policies.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and various shifts as needed.
