The Lead Maintenance Technician manages and executes high-quality property maintenance and repair work orders. This is a high-volume, steady role where efficiency, excellent workmanship, and clear digital communication are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Tech, you will typically complete 1–6 work orders per day and are expected to manage your schedule effectively, with daily volumes often reaching 5–8 separate jobs.
The scopes of work include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Drywall repairs
- Siding repairs
- Gutter repairs
- Deck and fence repairs
- Fascia and soffit repairs
- Exterior painting (partial and full home)
- Pressure washing
- Roof and gutter cleaning
We are seeking candidates with general handyman experience who can complete most (or all) of the above listed trades.
- Experience: Must have at least 3 years of general handyman/multi-trade experience.
- Skills: Proven ability to confidently complete most (or all) of the trades listed above with high quality.
- Digital Ready: Must own a smartphone and have a basic working knowledge of apps. All schedules and systems (including the Connect Team time-tracking app) are dispatched digitally.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the last three years (verified through Checker).
- Pre-Employment: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen is required.
This role is physically demanding and requires consistent ability to perform the following tasks safely:
- Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and pull materials, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and crawl for extended periods.
- Heights: Comfortable working from heights, including climbing and working on ladders and roofs as required for repairs and cleaning.
Environment: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
