Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Assistant Teachers to join our Infant and toddler classrooms. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating faith based environment for children, fostering creativity, growth and development.
Duties
- Assist in the implementation of lesson plans.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, caring and organized learning environment.
- Engage with children during activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide individualized attention to students, especially those requiring additional support.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student daily growth and needs and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childhood development and curriculum planning.
- Assist I running daily routines in accordance to child care license and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with child care license regulations and rules Is a plus.
- Strong classroom management abilities to maintain a nurturing environment.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a love for learning.
- First Aid and CPR trained or willingness to be trained.
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Willing to take a minimum of 24 hours of professional development annually.
