Certified Medical Assistant
PM&R/ Interventional Pain Management office is looking for a full time Certified Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities: Medical Practice/ Clinicals including obtaining patient information, vital signs, recording information in EMR. Preparing patients for procedures. Maintaining appropriate logs. Clean and maintain exam rooms. Manage equipment and supply inventory. Serve as liaison between physicians and patients.
Must work well as team member with flexibility, and ability to perform front and back office work as needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant with demonstrated medical administrative support and patient care experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems, vital signs monitoring, basic life support, and medical terminology
- Experience coordinating pre-examination preparation, patient intake, and patient service in hospital or outpatient settings
- Ability to assist with medical procedures, maintain treatment areas, and support inpatient/outpatient care as needed
- Familiarity with dermatology, urgent care, or hospital medicine environments is a plus
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
