Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Fast Grill Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
- Execute food production tasks including braising, poaching, food handling, and meal assembly in high-volume settings
- Follow food safety management procedures, including sanitizing surfaces, proper food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new grilled items or specials to enhance the dining experience
- Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals or accommodating dietary restrictions as required
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory, waste, and prep schedules to optimize kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a grill cook or in a similar fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on grilling and food preparation
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as braising, poaching, and food safety sanitizing procedures
- Experience working in fine dining or high-volume production settings within the food industry or restaurant sector
- Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards
- Familiarity with dietary aide practices, menu planning, catering experience, and serving is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow recipes precisely and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior experience in dietary department settings or with food safety management systems is desirable
