American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team position at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma children's hospital in Boston, requiring ultrasound-guided IV placement skills and pediatric vascular access experience.

Acute care pediatric hospital setting within a dedicated IV Therapy Vascular Access Team unit

Magnet-designated facility with NICU Level III/IV and Trauma Level I designation

485 staffed beds
-
Patient population spans pediatric to adult, including HemeOnc and ICU patients

Requires ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder skills

Charting via Epic (experience required)

Day/night rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts; start times at 7:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 7:00 PM

Shift rotations include 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, and 3:00 PM–3:30 AM

Weekend shifts required

13-week contract

Active MA RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Pediatric vascular access team experience required (e.g., HemeOnc, ICU)

Proficiency in ultrasound-guided IV placement required

Vein finder experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Provide specialized vascular access care including ultrasound-guided IV placement across a pediatric to adult patient population

Any solid scrub color is acceptable for this unit
