Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, minimize downtime, and promote a safe working environment through effective management of maintenance procedures and team coordination. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage equipment—and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex mechanical, electrical, and HVAC.
- Ensure all maintenance repair procedures adhere to safety regulations such as CMS, DIA, Fire Marshall, and OSHA standards, including lockout/tagout protocols and hazard assessments.
- Develop and implement projects for facilities upgrades or repairs while managing resources effectively to meet operational goals.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular safety audits, drilling, and training sessions to uphold a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Life safety and Emergency preparedness.
- Bids for repairs.
Skills
- Proven management experience supervising facilities or maintenance teams within a SNF envirnomanment.
- Familiarity with DIA, CMS, and OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial maintenance operations.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English with team members at all levels; strong leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development.
- Knowledge of Excel, teams, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Understanding of industry safety standards related to electrical and mechanical systems repair.
- Properly maintenance of grounds inside and outside.
- Proper response time to after hour emergencies.
