Job Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of our homecare services for Faith Healthcare. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising nursing staff, reviewing care plans, and supporting overall client satisfaction. This role is key to maintaining the quality, consistency, and integrity of care we provide to our clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise all clinical staff and care delivery.

Ensure compliance with all AHCA, state, and federal regulations.

Develop and update patient care plans; conduct quality reviews.

Participate in audits, surveys, and inspections; lead corrective actions.

Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and family members.

Train, onboard, and provide continuing education for clinical staff.

Perform chart audits and home visits as needed to ensure quality assurance.

Ensure accurate documentation in EMR systems.

Maintain adequate staffing and manage nurse scheduling.

Daily processing of OASIS, including SOC, ROC, Recertifications, and Discharges.
Qualifications:

Active Florida RN license (required)

Minimum 2 years of supervisory or DON experience in a homecare or healthcare setting

Familiarity with Florida AHCA regulations and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office

CPR certification (required)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Salary: $80K-$90K commensurate with experience
