Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to promote a high-performing team.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient order fulfillment.
- Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and internal departments to optimize distribution center operations.
- Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using lean management principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations through regular training and safety audits.
- Manage shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within distribution centers or e-commerce environments.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control systems (including AS400), and logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and mechanical tools; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes.
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, communicate effectively, and manage managerial responsibilities confidently.
- Mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during shipping & receiving tasks.

Pay: From $16.25 per hour
