American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Poplar Bluff, MO, requiring 2+ years of experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Hospital Med/Surg setting, floating between two units (Floor 1 and Floor 4)
-
Scope of care includes orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients, as well as telemetry patients
-
36-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5–7 depending on acuity
-
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
-
13-week contract

EMR: Cerner
-
Floating required between the two Med/Surg units

Active MO or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required (no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

RTO is capped at 36 hours per contract; requests must be less than one week in duration

May be required to work Easter, Mother's Day, or Memorial Day

Scheduled shift requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed

Royal blue scrubs required

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
