The Original Pancake House is looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Weekend Servers. Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.- Present menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take and process drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Maintain clean and organized Server work and dining areas, including cleaning tables and resetting for new guests.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy, utilizing the POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled to guests’ satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Uphold company standards for food safety, cleanliness, and guest service.
- Support team members as needed to provide excellent service during busy periods.
Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or similar role is preferred but not required.- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to excellence.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) during peak breakfast and brunch hours.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
