Part-Time Medical Receptionist / Patient Services CoordinatorLocation: Denver, CO Our busy, patient-focused Nephrology practice is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy assisting patients, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring our daily operations run smoothly. Salary $19/hour Schedule Part-time (25 hours per week)
M-F 10A – 3P, potential for flexibility with days/times
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Check patients in and out for appointments as needed
- Respond to patient questions and direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office
- Support providers, clinical staff, and office leadership with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous medical receptionist, medical office, or healthcare customer service experience preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable learning new computer systems and technology
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- *Bilingual preferred
