Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Water Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. This role involves responding to water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, and other property restoration projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in various aspects of property restoration, including handling specialized equipment and performing cleanup tasks.
Prior experience with mold remediation, asbestos abatement, or carpet cleaning is a plus but not required. We will train and provide educational opportunities to the right candidates
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to water damage and fire restoration calls to assess and mitigate damage
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment at the direction and guidance of the projects crew chief
- Follow best practices in mitigation techniques and safety protocols as outlined by the team leader
- Assist with mold remediation and Mitigation as required, following safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleanup, and repair tasks
- Assist with cleaning and restoring affected areas, including carpets and surfaces
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites
Qualifications
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction practices
- Ability to learn / operate specialized equipment for water mitigation and drying processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform strenuous activities, and work in confined spaces if necessary
- Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
