The AT&T Retail Associate role is an entry-level position with training provided. We look more at communication skills, attitude, and work ethic than previous industry experience.
As an AT&T Retail Associate, you will educate customers on AT&T's full lineup of wireless products, smartphones, mobile plans, Internet, and bundled services. Through comprehensive AT&T Retail Associate training, you'll become a trusted resource who simplifies technology, answers questions confidently, and delivers personalized recommendations based on each customer's needs.
AT&T Retail Associate Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide exceptional in-person customer service in both English and Spanish.
- Identify customer needs and recommend personalized AT&T products and services.
- Guide customers through the sales process while explaining product features, pricing, promotions, and account options.
- Demonstrate AT&T products and services through engaging consultations and product presentations.
- Build lasting customer relationships through knowledgeable recommendations and outstanding service.
- Assist customers with questions regarding wireless plans, internet services, billing, upgrades, device activations, and account support.
- Consistently achieve individual and team AT&T Retail Associate goals while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Stay current on AT&T products, promotions, wireless technology, and retail sales best practices.
- Create positive customer experiences that encourage loyalty, referrals, and repeat business.
AT&T Retail Associate Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in retail sales, wireless sales, telecommunications, customer service, hospitality, or sales is preferred.
- Prior AT&T Retail Associate experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technology in simple, customer-friendly language.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with diverse customers.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
- Interest in smartphones, wireless technology, Internet, mobile devices, and telecommunications.
- Goal-oriented with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience while meeting performance expectations.
