Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Equipment Assembly Assistant to support daily warehouse and equipment operations. The primary responsibility of this position will be English-to-Mandarin and Mandarin-to-English translation, with additional responsibilities including assisting with equipment assembly, general assembly work, and providing safe and efficient forklift operation when needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Mandarin/English Translation – Priority Responsibility
- Provide basic translation between English and Mandarin for employees, supervisors, vendors, and/or assembly personnel as needed.
- Assist with communicating work instructions, safety information, assembly procedures, and day-to-day workplace communication.
- Help ensure important instructions are clearly understood between English- and Mandarin-speaking team members.
- Translate verbal instructions and basic workplace information accurately and professionally.
Forklift Operations
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stage, and organize materials and equipment.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and work areas as needed.
- Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing materials for assembly.
- Follow all applicable warehouse and forklift safety requirements.
Equipment Assembly & Assembly Assistance
- Assist with the assembly of equipment, machinery, components, and related materials.
- Read and follow basic assembly instructions, drawings, or work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as required.
- Assist experienced team members with equipment assembly projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized assembly and work area.
Qualifications
- Mandarin and English communication skills required.
- Ability to translate basic workplace instructions and conversations between English and Mandarin.
- Experience with equipment assembly, mechanical assembly, installation, or similar hands-on work preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, standing, walking, bending, and moving materials.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
