Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to join our dynamic research team. In this role, you will support clinical trials and research projects by assisting with clinic tasks such as blood collection, collecting vitals and performing ECGs, and data collection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working in medical clinics and a passion for advancing medical research.
Duties
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Assists with patient care and collection of medical history, medications and other data necessary for conducting clinical trials.
- Data entry into medical records.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Medical office and patient care experience required.
- Medical assistant experience preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical research settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Travel
- Local travel only. CARE Institute does provide mileage reimbursement.
