We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Parts & Service Advisor to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Parts & Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers needing RV service, warranty assistance, parts purchases, and maintenance scheduling. This position plays a critical role in creating a positive customer experience while coordinating between customers, technicians, manufacturers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in person, by phone, and via email in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule service appointments and maintain an organized service calendar.
- Write repair orders and accurately document customer concerns.
- Communicate with technicians regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
- Provide regular updates to customers throughout the repair process.
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing RV parts and accessories.
- Research parts availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Process special orders and follow up on outstanding parts orders.
- Submit and manage warranty claims with manufacturers.
- Verify warranty coverage and maintain required documentation.
- Coordinate with manufacturers regarding claim approvals and payment status.
- Process customer payments and prepare invoices.
- Maintain accurate customer records and service files.
- Support dealership sales and service departments as needed.
- Help keep the parts showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Qualifications
- Previous RV, automotive, marine, powersports, or service advisor experience preferred.
- Parts department experience is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and dealership management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Skills
- RV industry experience.
- Warranty administration experience.
- Knowledge of RV systems, components, and accessories.
- Experience ordering and sourcing parts from multiple vendors.
- Familiarity with CDK, Lightspeed, IDS, or similar dealership software.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
