Our client is looking for experienced, passionate, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their school in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The ideal candidate has Early Childhood Eduction teaching experience and must be willing to work with children 1- to 3-years-old.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-Time; Monday – Friday; year-round employment

Salary
- Lead Teachers: $18.00-$20.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Assistant Teachers: $17.50-$19.50/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play and exploration
- Maintain a structured, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Observe, assess, and document children's development and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development, daily activities, and classroom updates
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and social development
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, health, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate classroom records including attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- REQUIRED Lead Teacher Education: High School Diploma or GED with an Associate's degree, Bachelors degree or Child Development Associate certification
- REQUIRED Lead Teacher Experience: 2 years in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- REQUIRED Assistant Teacher Education: High School Diploma or a GED
- REQUIRED Assistant Teacher Experience: 6 months experience with children 5 and under (babysitting/nannying OK!)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
