Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning stations to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards and regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and dish racks safely in accordance with kitchen health and safety standards
- Maintain proper storage of cleaned items to prevent cross-contamination and ensure easy access for staff
- Adhere to all sanitation protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment maintenance
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitation practices
- Experience with food handling, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and sanitizing stations effectively
- Knowledge of knife skills and basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely
- Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries
- Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not required
- A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork in fast-paced hospitality settings
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
