Registered Respiratory Therapist
Sunshine is looking for someone with skills in Respiratory Therapy.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or related field
Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in the State of Ohio
Current Respiratory Therapist
Experience with pediatric respiratory care and ventilator care, tracheostomy care
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or medically complex conditions
Must be able to adapt to changing situations, exercise sound clinical judgement, staff education & clinical training is highly desirable
Valid Drivers License, good driving record and auto insurance
Able to pass criminal background, drug test, physical, and PT assessment
Able to lift 50 pounds
Job Details
Assess, monitor, and evaluate respiratory status of individuals receiving support.
Administer prescribed respiratory therapies as applicable.
Perform respiratory assessments and document findings accurately, completely, and in a timely manner in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in the management and oversight of ventilator and respiratory support programs in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and the Director of Respiratory Services
Administer medications and respiratory treatments within scope of practice and in accordance with agency policy, physician orders, certification requirements and applicable regulations.
Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain all required licensure, certifications, and competencies.
Serve as clinical resource and subject matter expert for respiratory care
